PSIEE and the Industrial Research Office will be hosting Ron Ondechek, an Associate with Altira Group (www.altiragroup.com), an established energy technology venture capitalist firm with $300 million in assets.  Ron will present information to assist our faculty with interacting with the VC community and in moving their technology into the commercial marketplace.

After attending this presentation, you should be able to answer:

  1. What do venture capitalists look for in technology and how do they make investments?
  2. What are the keys to adopting technology in the marketplace?
  3. How to understand the general structure of a venture capital fund?
