Penn State hosted America’s largest seed fund to benefit local innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs
On September 19, Penn State was one of just 16 stops of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) road tour as it traveled across the U.S. connecting tech entrepreneurs to the country’s largest source of early-stage funding – the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The SBIR/STTR programs – known as America’s Largest Seed Fund – focus on next-generation research & development and are led by the SBA with 11 participating federal agencies.
