The Department of General Services (DGS) is one of the largest operating agencies in PA state government. With approximately 1,266 employees, DGS oversees procurement of goods and services, manages non-highway capital projects and is responsible for numerous core operations of state government, including management of the vehicle fleet, the Capitol Police force, state buildings and facilities.
