Built on a theory of collaboration and engagement, Innovation Park created the coolBLUE Community—one of the many unique features that set the park apart from conventional office parks.

This employee engagement program works to increase the quality of work-life for employees and to help companies in the park connect with each other and retain top talent.

Each year, coolBLUE brings networking and social events, workshops, lunch programs, and multiple fitness initiatives to the park. Some of the past events employees took part in included:

• performances by acclaimed American trio, Time for Three and Brooklyn-based quartet, Brooklyn Rider
• a visit to the Palmer Museum of Art and Berkey Creamery
• a tour of the National Weather Service office
• a tour of CIMP-3D, a world leader in additive manufacturing

In the future, they’ll have the chance to enjoy live performances by The Knights, Sybarite5, and Winscape, to participate in an eight-week walking program, and tour the University Park Airport tower.
